Muhammad Wajdan Jamal

Muhammad Wajdan Jamal is currently pursuing an MPhil in Physics, with a research focus on Computational Materials Science, Density Functional Theory (DFT), and Machine Learning. He completed his BS in Physics from the University of Okara, developing a strong foundation in theoretical physics and computational techniques. His research focuses on the computational investigation and design of advanced functional materials, particularly perovskites, for applications in renewable energy, photocatalysis, thermoelectric devices, and hydrogen storage. He has experience in studying the structural, electronic, optical, mechanical, and thermodynamic properties of materials using first-principles approaches. Alongside DFT-based research, he is exploring the integration of Machine Learning and AI with materials science to accelerate materials discovery and property prediction.
