Course Overview:

This online course provides a practical introduction to ADMET (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion, and Toxicity) analysis in drug discovery. Participants will learn the fundamentals of pharmacokinetics, drug-likeness, and toxicity prediction using online computational tools. The course covers key parameters such as Lipinski’s Rule of Five, LogP, solubility, GI absorption, BBB permeability, CYP interactions, clearance, and toxicity. Learners will also gain hands-on experience interpreting ADMET results and integrating them with molecular docking and virtual screening workflows.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamental concepts of ADMET and pharmacokinetics.
  • Explain the importance of ADMET profiling in drug discovery.
  • Use online ADMET prediction tools for drug candidates.
  • Analyze key parameters including absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity.
  • Evaluate drug-likeness and Lipinski’s Rule of Five.
  • Interpret ADMET prediction results and identify potential liabilities.
  • Integrate ADMET analysis with molecular docking and virtual screening.

Please note: At the end of the course, you will receive an E-certificate. For more details, please visit the Policies section.
