Laila Rubab is a dedicated researcher and chemist with expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and green catalytic approaches. Her academic and research contributions include peer-reviewed publications and book chapters focusing on heterocyclic compounds, coumarin sulfonamides, and strategies for sustainable organic synthesis.

In addition to her academic work, she has gained professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry as an R&D and Quality Control Officer, where she developed hands-on expertise in analytical techniques, product development, and stability testing. This dual background in both academic research and industry practice equips her with a comprehensive perspective on chemical sciences and their real-world applications.

Passionate about green chemistry, sustainable technologies, and the development of novel therapeutics, Laila Rubab actively engages in interdisciplinary collaborations and contributes to international research initiatives.

At the Green Institute of Chemical, Biomedical and Environmental Sciences (GICBES), she serves as Principal Scientific Officer and Director of Administration, where she leads research initiatives, provides strategic oversight, and fosters innovation at the intersection of chemistry, biomedicine, and environmental sciences.
