Dr. Zeemal Seemab Amin is an accomplished Biochemist with extensive experience in plant biochemistry, molecular biology, and nanotechnology. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Minhaj University, Lahore, and as a Collaborative Scientist at The Green Institute of Chemical, Biomedical and Environmental Sciences (GICBES), where she engages in interdisciplinary research bridging chemical, biomedical, and environmental sciences.
At Minhaj University, Dr. Amin has supervised a total of 31 students, including 1 PhD, 9 M.Phil, and 21 BS students, and is currently mentoring 1 PhD, 3 MS, and 5 BS research projects. Her previous experience includes serving as a Lecturer at Petaloid College, Lahore, where she was recognized as the Best Teacher of the institute. She actively contributes to academic leadership at Minhaj University as part of the Quality Enhancement Cell and as Sports In-Charge, alongside her scientific endeavors.
Dr. Amin holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FOST), University of Central Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, with her doctoral research focused on plant biochemistry. She has authored two book chapters and published 35 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, earning recognition in the Directory of Productive Scientists of Pakistan. She also serves as a reviewer for multiple international scientific journals and has contributed significantly to national and international conferences and seminars.
