Dr. Huma Hameed

Dr. Huma Hameed is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Central Punjab, Lahore, and a Collaborative Research Group consultant at The Green Institute of Chemical Biomedical and Environmental Sciences (GICBES). She earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Rennes 1, France, supported by an HEC scholarship, with research on innovative therapies for hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma.

She has worked with leading French institutes, including INSERM and IRSET, contributing to projects in drug delivery, toxicology, and therapeutic innovation. With over 300 cumulative impact factor publications and presentations at major international conferences, she brings extensive academic and research expertise.

At GICBES, she supports multidisciplinary collaborations, research capacity building, and translational projects in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.

Beyond her research, Dr. Huma is committed to innovative pedagogy in pharmaceutical education. She integrates software-based tools and activity-driven learning approaches into teaching and assessment, ensuring dynamic and impactful learning experiences. She has also trained undergraduate students in modern research methodologies, scientific writing, and applied pharmaceutical sciences, playing a vital role in mentoring and preparing the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists.
