Assistant Professor | Collaborative Research Group Leader

Dr. Shazia Perveen is a dedicated researcher and academic with expertise in Pharmacology,  Toxicology, food Safety and Environmental Sciences. She is a collaborative research group leader at the Green Institute of Chemical, Biomedical, and Environmental Sciences (GICBES), where she contributes to advancing interdisciplinary research and innovation.

Her work focuses on neurobiology, drug safety evaluation, oxidative stress mechanisms, and microbial food safety, with a strong commitment to translating laboratory findings into practical health and safety solutions. Dr. Perveen has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, actively participates in scholarly communication, and serves as a reviewer and collaborator in national and international projects.

Alongside her research, she is passionate about mentoring students and early-career scientists, equipping them with the skills to excel in critical inquiry and advanced research. Through her dedication to academic excellence and scientific innovation, Dr. Perveen continues to make impactful contributions to human health, food safety, and environmental sustainability.
